We love Houghton Regis but it is clear our town is in trouble. We have listened and we believe we know what the town wants and needs:-

No more fobbing off, no more excuses.

The town is going places. Massive investment is being made because of the new houses being built. But mistakes are being made and opportunities are being missed. 

​

New roads have connected the town to the wider world, a new leisure centre is in the process of being built, hopefully football will get improvements from the football centre promised, one new school has been built, another is well underway, a statement shared space for our seniors. Investment is pouring in. And yet, there is something being lost.

​

There is no vision. The town is being fragmented. The town has become a building site with no thought for the history or the residents that live here. The Independents are going to change this.
